Heat the oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add the onion, garlic and red pepper, and cook until soft, about 5 minutes. 2. Add the vegetable broth and bring to a boil. Add the peas and cook until tender, about 5 minutes. 3. Puree the soup using an immersion blender or a regular blender until smooth. Return to the pot and stir in the cream. Season with salt and pepper, to taste. Serve hot. Enjoy!
